This place is in a great location. Few steps and you’re in the heart of Basel. Saturdays in the park across the street is a market where you can find amazing antiques and other great finds. This hotel has the most comfortable, fluffy pillows I've ever slept on. There's no A/C, which is OK as it usually cools down at night, but it was warm in the room during the day with temps reaching up into the mid-80s while we were there.

What a gem of a hotel, right in the heart of Basel! I loved everything about the Nomad, from the free sparkling water to the extremely helpful staff and the fabulous restaurant. The room was modern, comfortable and had excellent Wi-Fi. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a rain forest shower head as well as a handheld shower head - heavenly! I've stayed at the Nomad twice and would definitely stay again.

It was a nice hotel, good rooms, good service. It took ~15mins to walk to it with a suitcase from the train station and was close enough to walk to most of the tourist sights. A good choice for the price point.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Euler. The location is a bit outside of town near the train station, but there were trams right outside the hotel which took us downtown to the Christmas markets. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't free, so we went to the Starbucks next door. The hotel looks like an old elegant hotel and although it shows it's age, they had some nice touches such as a piano player in the evening.
