What a find! Such reasonable rates for a warm, comfortable, clean and quiet room. Bathrooms and toilets are shared but there are so many that it feels like you have one to yourself. The restaurant was great, and also well priced. The staff were outstanding. It seemed none were over the age of 25 but very cheerful, friendly and professional. There’s a common living room and kitchen with all the basics.

The hotel is a beautiful old building that has been very well set up. The room was clean, spacious & well appointed, with great snacks and beverages provided. The bed was very comfortable and despite being on the road side it was quiet. I arrived after dark and would suggest that some more lights on the signage for the access path from the back car park to reception would be helpful, as well as mentioning to guests that there are steps involved in that access. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. There are a number of steps up to the hotel from parking but there is an entrance on the side where someone could be dropped off/picked up if they couldn't manage the steps. The room was very clean and my bed was very cozy and comfortable. I walked to the park with the monkeys which was very close, then downtown and then to the gorge along the zigzag trail and back which made for a long walk but was doable!
