"Situated right off of Laugavegur street (adjacent to the Sumac restaurant, the main entrance is tucked away to the side) this hotel was incredible. The staff was friendly, allowed us a late checkout without charge, and held our bags after checkout so we could explore Reykjavík a little more! We had just completed the Laugavegur Trail, so the junior suite with the private sauna on the balcony got a lot of use to soothe our muscles after 55 kilometers of hiking and sleeping in tents! "We really enjoyed Oddsson. It’s right next door to a cute coffee shop and only 7 minutes to a grocery store by foot. We liked how close it was to everything, but outside of the main areas enough to be quiet. The only downside for us was the room was quite warm. We were there in July and it was a warm summer for Reykjavík, and the room was very warm. Our room only had one small window that would open and there were no fans. Just be prepared. "The location was great. You can walk to most places in Reykjavik. Especially for the price. The room was clean and had a small fridge and whatever you may need. The blankets were incredibly warm which was nice being here at the end of winter. There is no front desk in case you need help or would like ideas for places to eat. That could be why the price was lower than others. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. "
