"Situated right off of Laugavegur street (adjacent to the Sumac restaurant, the main entrance is tucked away to the side) this hotel was incredible. The staff was friendly, allowed us a late checkout without charge, and held our bags after checkout so we could explore Reykjavík a little more! We had just completed the Laugavegur Trail, so the junior suite with the private sauna on the balcony got a lot of use to soothe our muscles after 55 kilometers of hiking and sleeping in tents! "When we first got to the property, we weren’t too sure It’s very old, but it was clean. It appears to be in the old area of Iceland, where there’s a few hostiles. But at the end, we stayed in apartment, 102 which had a kitchenette, which was great because the price of food in Iceland is crazy expensive. It’s a self serve stay. Which we didn’t mind. It was walkable everywhere we needed to go. Love Iceland."

"We really enjoyed Oddsson. It’s right next door to a cute coffee shop and only 7 minutes to a grocery store by foot. We liked how close it was to everything, but outside of the main areas enough to be quiet. The only downside for us was the room was quite warm. We were there in July and it was a warm summer for Reykjavík, and the room was very warm. Our room only had one small window that would open and there were no fans. Just be prepared. "Room had a lovely ocean view and it was very clean. There was enough bedding if anyone wanted additional blankets but there was no need. The room temperature was comfortable and at one point, we reduced the heat and opened the windows since the apartment was nice and toasty. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. There was tea and coffee available to us. The location was perfect to walk around town. There were cafes close by as well as eateries and shops. I highly recommend."
