This hotel's location is spectacular, right next to a pristine lagoon. This is a great option for nature lovers. There's almost no light pollution, the lagoon is fully surrounded by mangroves and you can hardly see any other constructions around the lagoon. The hotel's staff is very friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Hotel Boutique Aurea. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Conchis, the cook, was always very accommodating to our needs. Paloma was very knowledgeable of the area and shared some the history. In general Carolina and Edgar provided great service and leadership. We will definitely go back to this location. We had an amazing experience and the property manager is hands down the best. The location is off the beaten path, but we loved it! The private lagoon is a short walk down the hill and so amazing. Such a peaceful and beautiful area, definitely a must go if you’re wanting some time away from the city.

This is a unique stay in the middle of the jungle, so do expect a couple of bugs around. Yet the place is in perfect harmony with nature, respecting it and minimizing invasion.
The Staff was very attentive and friendly, especially Edgar, the F&B Manager.
The food at the inhouse restaurant is outstanding, we did most our meals there.

This hotel was the most serene and tranquil experience ever had. It felt like we had the hotel all to ourselves as there are only 17 rooms, and our bungalow was over the water with direct access to the lagoon from our back door. This was a dream, we will definitely plan to be back!

Beautiful hotel on the lagoon. Close walk to downtown and great food next door!! Everyone was friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and lovely. We enjoyed our stay !
En general, el Hotel estaba muy limpio los alimentos estaban ricos y tienen mucha variedad. También me gustó mucho la laguna que tienen como vista y que de ahí sale un yate para algunos tours.

Serene, beautiful property with a great lagoon view. Super easy parking and secure entrance. We stayed in two room types and thought both were excellent (lagoon view suite, and partial lagoon view room). The overall vibe was nice with chill electronic music playing and waiters roaming to make sure you had all you needed, the food an drinks were excellent (ate multiple meals during our stay). Only critique would be that the lounge chairs facing the lagoon are limited in number, and other guests...
