The add on to the house is mainly for the B&B. One of the owners was a builder by trade and he evidently built many of the special features in the house as well as some furniture. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our suite has a little fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hot water dispenser. There was a fresh bowl of fruits every day, and the brekkies are delicious. Owners have lots of knowledge about local life. While it is a bit of distance to the Red Mountain...
Our family didn’t want to leave. Got a themed room with bunk beds. It was 3 bunk beds that were full to queen size each with plenty of space between. Our own private door to the pool with a slide. Lobby was fancy, breakfast good.
Solo female traveler. Was a good budget friendly hotel! Felt safe and had my motorcycle outside with bags full and no issues. Staff was friendly and bed was comfy, what more could you ask for
Best place to stay on the mountain. The hosts were friendly and truly cared about us having a good time. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else on the mountain next time I come up.
The Hotel is right downtown Nelson close to shopping and restaurants. We had a small room but had everything we needed. The folks running the desk I believe were the owners and couldn't have been more helpful with trip planning for the area and beyond.
This was our first trip to Nelson, and this hotel was a perfect landing spot to be able to enjoy the area properly! There’s a mountain shuttle pickup directly in front of the hotel, and restaurants, bars, and shopping are all within easy walking distance. The staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area; always available to answer our questions. I’d definitely stay here again!
