It was a wonderful hotel. My rate for one night was $50 USD. The hotel is near the Athens Airport, but on a beach. The food at the attached restaurant was very tasty and reasonably priced.
Hotel has great facilities and wonderful staff. Very good location. 10 minutes by taxi (10 Euro) to metro that takes you to down town. All rooms are facing the beach with nice balconies. The free open buffet Breakfast is excellent with plenty of food. Ideal for May-October when the outside pools are open. The indoor pool and recreation facilities are extremely expensive with 45 Euro per visit.
The Athellon Suites is 2 buildings down and across the street from the main hotel itself. There is no real place to stop on the street which makes it a little confusing but traffic can get around you. While the room was very clean, the window had been left open and there is a mosquito problem at the port of Pireaus. They chewed me up as I lay their trying to swat them away, ultimately affecting my sleep.
This is a beautiful hotel, in an excellent location for exploring on foot. Our room was very nice, with large windows, and a balcony. The staff was wonderful with restaurant recommendations and directions. The lobby/ breakfast area is beautiful and the included breakfast is a nice way to start the day. They also left us a to go bag when our flight left before the scheduled breakfast. One thing to mention is that cabs and Ubers cannot go down the street the hotel is on. It is a short 1/2...

Amazing location. Walkable to nearly everything and felt safe. Hotel is right across from Montastraki station, so somewhat noisy & looks sketchy, but do not let this deter you! Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were beautiful and beds were comfortable. Spent 2 weeks traveling and this was the most comfortable bed. Would 10/10 recommend.

Excellent location for walkable dining, shopping, and ancient ruins. Book a room in the “hotel” with a balcony not the “residences” if you want a peekaboo view of the Acropolis. Bathroom very modern and comfortable but be aware that only a glass door with gauzy curtains separates you from anyone you share the room with. Also the entrance is on Karoni Street, around the corner from 39 Aiolou Street which some booking sites list as the address.

Would like to have a shuttle to and from the closest locations only 10min away. Taxis are pretty expensie and a shuttle would be a value add.
I was super skeptical at first as the street view on google maps showed an older building. This is a fully renovated hotel and they did not spare any detail in providing a great service and stay for the customers. Breakfast room has amazing views of the acropolis and as did our room too. We recommend this place for quality, convenience and friendly staff.
We cannot say enough good things about this property. The location was fabulous. You can easily walk to everything. The room was small but utilized the space very well. It has a minimalist/industrial vibe. And it had the best shower!!!!

This was our second stay at the Coco-Mat Athens and we love it. It is located in a very nice part of town and is very walkable (if you don't mind hills). Our room was large, particularly the shower, which is HUGE by European standards. As with our last stay, every staff member we met was extremely friendly and helpful. There are great restaurants nearby...I recommend Café Nero and Chef and the Dog.
As a side note, everything I thought I liked in a bed apparently was wrong. I always looked for...
