The staff were great. We got there early and they allowed us to check in early. The room we had on the first floor was very small and we barely had enough room to store our suitcases Beds are comfortable and shower pressure is nice. I love the view of the acropolis from the rooftop and we ordered scrambled eggs and omelettes for breakfast that was delicious. One thing to be aware of is the hotel is across the street from a beautiful church and the bell rings every 30 minutes for 24 hours a day. Which means if you’re a light sleeper it could keep you up or wake you up. Thats not something the hotel can do anything about but it’s good to know. Overall it is an affordable place to stay if you want to be in the heart of the city.

Our first experience in Athens, Greece would have not been perfect without the staff in Metropolis Hotel. The check in was less than a minute, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is simple and clean, nothing complicated. The location is PRIME. Highly suggest this place for Travellers and I will be looking forward to staying again with them in the future. Thank you for making it memorable for us in Athens.

Elevator was tiny and internet slow - I could not upload/backup my photos. Breakfast was excellent with super view of Acropolis. Room overlooked park and view of acropolis which was excellent.
