"Very modern hotel with fabulous location in the Latin Quarter. There was parking in a garage very close by with a good discount. Our room was definitely snug though as the name suggests. We had a very tiny room with no window, which was fine for one night of exploring the town."
"Come to Gort quite a bit and when I do I always stay at the Lady Gregory. Very clean and comfortable staff always fantastic and a nice drop of Guinness in the bar and food great. Thoroughly recommend to anybody coming to the area for the first time."
"This is a very nice, small property. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We found it very walkable to see the restaurants and shopping. The self check in was easy enough."
"Very helpful guy on reception at check-in, although 12 hours of an unstaffed reception (9pm to 9am) is most unusual.
Room was small, but was well designed and equipped. Perfect for a one night stay, but not really for much longer.
Location could not he more central and convenient - for transport, resturants and bars."

Ann and Michael were wonderful host. Thier bed & breakfast was amazing and beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. They are located right on the edge of the town of Oranmore about a 10 minute walk into town & about a 10 minute drive to Galway. Thanks Ann & Michael for your hospitality and delicious breakfast, especially the scones!!
This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. Lovely nooks like you’ll find in the lounge are perfect for reading and having tea. Breakfast was an amazing and almost decadent experience. Three downsides to be...
Parking was not on-site, but was right next door and a discounted rate. Hotel was an easy 100 ft from the ramp. Busy area right on the main pedestrian walkway. Easy walking access to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff both in the hotel and the 1520 pub.
This property is adorable! Beware: there is no lift, the stairs are narrow and the room is tiny. With that said, we loved it. The rooms are identified by the names of authors, the breakfast is ample and the location offers multiple options for food and drink steps from your door.
We were relieved to find this very nice place to stay. We had come from Galway where there were zero vacancies. This morning we had a dreamy visit to Thoor Balley.
Amazing host who gave us great recommendations - she was so kind to us and the kids and provided them with games and recommendations for dinner and travel and sites . Would stay there again and we even stayed a day longer in the area as she told us so many cool things to do!
Amazing hosts very friendly, gave us a tour of all the facilities. If you love BnBs that are more off the beaten path then this is for you. The drive is absolutely lovely up a mountain and around the coast (wild Atlantic way)! It’s only 30 min to the cliffs, and there are towns nearby.
The BnB is so charming with lovely communal rooms. There are 2 fireplaces with cozy chairs and dark wood beams on the ceiling, brass old lamps, and oil paintings. All the dark wood reminds me of a library or...
The Kinvara Guesthouse is a jewel. It's big-city lodging in a small, cozy Irish town. It's the kind of town one sees in Irish travel books and brochures. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse, on the street, essentially. They have an elevator (lift) which was a big help for my wife (and me with our luggage). We had a huge room on the second floor with a view of the "plaza" in front of the guesthouse. The bathroom was more than adequate. Our only complaint is that there were no wash...
Stunning apartment. The pictures online don't really show what a beautiful place this is or what a great location. The only issue we had was that our reservation code didn't work so we had a hard time with the automated check in. We did finally get a call back and they were able to help us get checked in. There is not enough parking for everyone, but we were able to park outside the gate both nights with no issues. The door keys will time out at 10:00 am so if you are not completely out you...
