"Clean and spacious room, very well kept property, quiet, good restaurant, very attentive, helpful and professional staff. I didn't get the breakfast-included booking, but even so it was very reasonably priced.
It's in the Centro Historico, so not beautiful like the Condesa area, but still safe to walk about even after dark.
The hotel is right near the Metro Cathedral (hence the name) so you might hear some protesting and a street musician or 2, but it all dies down not long after dark.
The hotel is also a block away from some interesting ruins, and only a 12-minute walk to the Palais Belles Artes. It's also a short walk to a couple of good restaurants and a couple of other museums. "
"Our stay at Historico Central Hotel was amazing! The staff was so professional and friendly. Andrea and Enrique at the Concierge desk were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They gave us many wonderful suggestions that made our stay even better. The walking tour of Historico Central on our first morning was a fabulous way to start our visit to Mexico City. Emiliano from Mexico a pie was our guide and he was so knowledgeable about the history of Mexico City and very friendly. He gave us many wonderful recommendations of places to go. The hotel was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and the Central Cafe. We would absolutely stay at Historico Central Hotel the next time we are in Mexico City! We highly recommend!"
"As a historic property I did not expect to see new amenities. The TV did not even have signal. I only stay one night for the experience. Even though this hotel is rich in history, I cannot say much about the services. Would I stay here again? I am not sure. The location is good. "
