Like going back in time. Classical European hotel. Had a gorgeous spacious suite. Bathroom fixtures were a bit dated and the shower/tub was unusually high and difficult to get in and out of. But location was fantastic. 2 minute walk to take the funicular up to Harder Kulm. 3 minute walk to Interlaken Ost train station. Plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. If you are looking for a hotel in the central Interlaken area this is a very nice option.

Fantastic hotel with very helpful staff! Right in the heart of the shops and other restaurants. Easy access to train and bus. Fondue Krebs was the best of the 4 fondue’s we had on our trip! Fantastic breakfast with made to order eggs (fill out a sheet) Also, the bartender provided us ice for our room. Hotel has a vintage romance feel to it. Was a great place to stay and easy train access to Grindlewald and Lauterbrennen. Boat ride on the lake also recommended!

We loved this hotel. It was very quaint and more like a bed and breakfast. We booked one of the smaller rooms/shared bathrooms because we wanted the less expensive price. I was worried about sharing a bathroom but in four nights that we were there, we never had one problem with that.
