Located in a very beautiful area, very convenient to shopping

Nice hotel in a great location. We love the Orchard Road area. The breakfast is very nice. We did not eat dinner there so can't comment on that. The standard rooms are smallish but well laid out. They were fine for our purpose as we did not spend much time in our room other than sleeping. I would certainly stay there again and would send my friends there.

Staff were very attentive and helpful, especially when I arrived feeling very unwell. The property is clean, with all the amenities we needed. Location is great, plenty of food and shopping options all within walking distance. Bus stop is close too. Loved it here and would love to be back.

Centrally located, great free buffet breakfast, room was very nicely appointed—a perfect base from which to explore Singapore…I would stay again in a heartbeat…. The Carleton is my #1 choice when in Singapore The value and location is my main reasons for choosing the Carleton over all other hotels in the area. The Raffles Hotel, Chines and Raffles City mall is literally a walk across the street. There is a food pavilion with small restaurants and bars with live entertainment and TV's for sports in the lower courtyard. The MRT is a short walk. The place is what you expect from a vacation resort. Did not disappoint. Location great, different walk paths for evening strolls, taxi is cheap to get you too tourist stuff or shopping. There’s a cable car network right outside the hotel. Breakfast buffet has so much food, you’d think you were in Las Vegas buffet inside a casino.

I have traveled to 50+ country's and have never had a better hotel experience. They have a complimentary airport pick up which was nice, since after 30 hrs of travel time I did not have to deal with public transportation or a taxi. The driver was there after collecting my bags at 12:30am. On arrival to the hotel they delivered my bags to my room while I registered. They also provide a welcome drink. Property was well maintained and accessible to all and everything we needed to do. The MRT and the bus stations are around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful by every means. Will stay at this place again.

My nephew lived in Singapore for 4 years and recommended the Orchid Hotel. I have stayed there 3 times and never been disappointed. The price is very good, the location is about 1/2 block from the clean, inexpensive & safe subway (MRT), and you are walking distance to Chinatown and numerous places to eat. This is a beautiful property and very conveniently located to a lot of attractions, food, shopping, and even a casino. It's also not too far from the beach. This is definitely more of a touristy location as opposed to staying in the city and getting a more local experience. But I loved it! It was super hot when we came so we spent a lot of time at the pool. The pool area is beautiful and so much room to spread out. I would highly recommend this place!

Walking distance to Siloso and Palawan beaches!
