"Terrible. Photos are entirely misleading. No access to the facilities advertised. Communication was terrible, from arrival to departure. Breakfast was 1 small slice of toast per person. The shower didn't work on the first day (of 2 days), and the water smelled like sewage. Way overpriced compared to others in the area given what is offered. Stay away!"

We stayed here for 10 nights this month to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved it so much, we are already booking to stay again next year. The hotel in general had the best view in Capri of the sea. Make sure you get a room with a veranda. Waking up to the sound of the sea and then walking onto your veranda sets the mood for the entire day. It rejuvenates your senses. Whether you enjoy relaxation or hiking this resort and island offer both.
The check in was easy and the property is fabulous . The staff was super nice and friendly .It’s walking distance to town where you can enjoy a gelato or two . The pool area was a little small for this property size . All of the chairs were taken early . The restaurant they own had a Michelin rating but it was overpriced and the food was the worst I’ve had on my 14 day tour of Italy . It was offsite and not as pretty as they make it look on the website . Very disappointed that it was the worst...
This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. The hotel has a picturesque view of the Bay of Sorrento, sitting up higher on one end just a short walk from the best restaraunts. We loved this hotel. The staff was amazing! A very service oriented hotel and very accommodating. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to Sorrento which makes it extremely easy to get around. The Conceige is very knowledgeable and has wonderful recommendations and advice for restaurants and things to do. If you can, don't miss their rooftop sunset event. The sunset is exceptional from there. A gem on the Amafi Coast.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this hotel during our stay in Positano. The hotel staff, owner, Julia in particular, were incredibly helpful in helping us plan our stay and how to best utilize our day and see all we wanted to see. Our room was especially clean and you can see that the hotel staff takes great pride in this. Our room had a terrace with the most amazing view of sea and breakfast is delivered to the room (included) enabling guests the opportunity to enjoy it on their decks....
Beautiful view, centrally located for great dining, shopping, and boat tours. Quiet at night for light sleepers. Great size room for two. Breakfast service was excellent. All around perfect hotel for the area.
Did a ton of research on hotels in Positano for week vacay w/ my GF - trying to keep $ manageable while providing key amenities (good balcony, location, etc.). So happy I went with Savoia.
Location - Perfect, seriously. Quick walk to Main Beach (5-10 mins) but situated on Cristoforo Colombo which has several nice bars/restaurants & amazing views. Also only 5 min. walk to the Sponda SITA bus stop (other stop is at the top of town). Couldn't beat it.

We enjoyed our stay in Sorrento Italy. Our hotel LaVue D'Or was great. My family and thought the location was perfect with great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if we travel back to Sorrento Italy.
