"An unforgettable experience! The amenities are great. Staff so friendly. The views just amazing. Lots of things to do. We travel with 2 kids 3&8 years old, they loved the kids club so much
Amazing contact with nature and modern installation at the same time. Food just Amazing"
"It was a great experience and everything was included. Staff were super helpful and really made you feel welcome. Food was great and amenities were even better. 10/10 would recommend!!"
"The staff was great from the animation to the music and activities.
My son had a great time at the camp with the kids!
(They upsale is the only thing that is a bit stressful ) .
The Mexican restaurant is amazing. The food is so delicious."
"The resort was wonderful. The à la carte restaurants were amazing and no reservations were required but we found out you need to get there early for a spot or to be put on a waiting list. The buffet was good. Typical buffet. But the staff were amazing! Always ready to serve you a drink regardless of where you were…beach, lobby, buffet…The grounds were immaculate. The rooms are slightly outdated but that was the only negative. We also enjoyed a couple massage. Not cheap but a wonderful...
"Enjoyed my stay at Maroma very much. Loved how clean safe and quiet the resort was. Food was great especially the buffet at the fiesta was my favorite. Thank you Maroma ^_^ "
"JOIA Paraiso was just what we needed. Relaxing, quiet, clean and beautiful. We had an ocean front 2nd floor room with the butler service. Marianna and Gustavo were amazing. The made sure we had everything we needed. Spa service was outstanding. We will be back!"
"Setting the seaweed aside cause they have no control over that. We had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The resort was well maintained, and in a great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent with plenty of tasty options.
The pool area and overall atmosphere were...
"This resort is fantastic. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with rich foliage and wildlife. We enjoyed walking everyday and enjoying the views. We have been to luxury and budget and this was by far our favorite resort. We will definitely be back! "
"We liked the simplicity of the rooms; spa and service was truly amazing. Nice pools and beach club. Food was great. Neighbor St Regis access is great for dinner at Toro and walking just to see( we have stayed there before and it is awesome as well)
Make sure that you have unobstructed view to the room TV or ask for a change.we did.
Overall loved it"
"We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us.
The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. The restaurants were picturesque right on the beach - we particularly liked breakfast with the fresh juices of the day and daily changed pastries. The gym setup is excellent and the daily complimentary activities rounded out our...
"One of the best vacations I’ve been on in my entire life. Thank you so much to our Guia, Ommar for making our honeymoon a magical experience. Highly recommend splurging on the spa and exploring dinner at the nearby Toro hotel. "

Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, Maroma Beach is one of the most popular seaside spots located 10.1 mi (16.3 km) from central Playa del Carmen. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Paradise Beach.
My wife, & I stay at The Edition Riviera Maya this past weekend for her birthday. The property was gorgeous, although the weather wasn’t. Unfortunately, it’s still the end of the hurricane season in Mexico. Thank God, we did get some sunshine though. The place is gorgeous! Every single person was warm, & kind to us. The prices for food, & drinks were expensive, be prepared! I believe they also said that they were holding $450 a night on my credit card, which I thought was unusually high, but I...
This was our second time there and we love it. So quiet, luxurious, attentive and serene. Aldo is an amazing head of butlers and is top notch. We miss our folks from the last time but he was still there and took great care of us. Seaweed is a concern for this whole carribean/gulf region but they work hard to control it. The seaweed was better this year. Likely environmental. You can't go wrong if you wave to relax and have peace. We are young there and we are mid 40's. Average age is...
We stayed at Secrets Maroma for 7 nights and to say we had a great time is an understatement! We did stay in the Perferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View, building 16, and the view of resort and ocean was great! From the moment we arrived and until we departed, the service is outstanding throughout the resort-from the wait staff, bar tenders, front desk, and especially our conceirge-Emmanuel! Emmanuel was excellent- and took care of all our needs when needed!
The food at all restaurants was...
Beautiful property. The Belmond Maroma is a small hotel set in a lush tropical garden along the beach. The common areas are gorgeous and the rooms are private and quiet. There are several serene pools and great seating & umbrellas on the beach. The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The breakfast is divine and dinners excellent. The only downside is the seaweed on the beach which is an issue all along the Yucatan coast. The hotel rakes the beach clean each morning.
This is a great, little resort.
The beach is, in my opinion, is one of the best in the area. It is white and powdery. The staff rakes it each morning so there are no rocks or debris. There could be more beach chairs, but the staff work very hard to assure that you get a chair.
My room was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach. I had a room directly above Rick’s bar and the adjoining pool, but never felt it was too loud.
The staff are all very hard working and welcoming. The...
Everything was amazing! The daily breakfast that was included was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend the French fries and guacamole pool side as well. Luis, our pool side attendant and Aram, our concierge, were top notch, along with everyone else that works there! Our only challenge was we weren’t aware it was a cashless resort, so we weren’t able to break our big bills for individual tips. We recommend you bring small bills ($1’s and $5’s) for tipping purposes!
Stayed at the Zen resort. Great welcoming environment. Relaxing. pampered. Spa too expensive for what they offer, though. Excellent restaurants, although food somewhat scant in some of them (Piaff and, De Autor). Quality of drinks intermediate. Beaches resorts with excellent infinity pool and wet bar. Azul and Lucca best places to eat. Watch out at Piaf restaurant with sommelier trying to have you choose from an expensive list of wines not included in the "all inclusive". "All...
We stayed 9 days and had a fantastic time. The property and wildlife is outstanding. What a nice balance of jungle like lagoon and ocean! Take the free boat trip through the lagoon and get the Mayan clay purification service at the spa. This resort takes great pride in being ecologically friendly and we appreciated that. The staff is absolutely delightful and accommodating. The adult pool was the nicest pool we have ever been to and the beach was clean and beautiful. We love high quality...
This property is fantastic if your desire is to go to a laid back property and have a relaxing but fun time. It is not packed with party hungry 18 year olds. We noticed the guests were mostly couples and friend trips made up of ladies or couples. While they say tips are not expected, they really are. For the price of flights and the say along with the amazing food options on property, throw your server or housekeeping staff a few USD. Be careful when it comes to converting dollars to pesos - pay...
Very professional staff , I will definitely come back .
Everyone welcomes you with smile . If u looking for all inclusive , you won’t be satisfied no all inclusive options . You have to pay for everything u do there my room had breakfast included . Jet ski was avg 67usd for 30 mins
I had to pay 22 usd daily service charges . They have four resturant food quality is 5 to 7 stars . Avg launch or dinner per two adults and kid like 150 usd to 250 usd . Over all I am happy with my visit .
We were looking for a small non-resort hotel on the beach where we could relax peacefully, and Petit Lafitte is exactly that. As soon as we arrived at Lafitte we were welcomed home by the desk staff and concierge. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and made us feel comfortable, and were more than willing to help make our stay a very pleasant one. The beach is about 20 steps from the outdoor bar, with a number of chairs and thatch umbrellas for use by guests, and the pool was a comfortable...
Hotel Lunata is a gem situated on Playa del Carmen's charming 5th Avenue, and one block from Playa's main beach. Even though our room overlooked 5th Avenue, the triple-insulated balcony doors assured peace and quiet. The hotel is reminiscent of a hacienda, and has a lovely private - and very quiet - garden. The complimentary continental breakfast was tasty, with fresh fruit and Mexican pastries along with cereals, coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Perhaps the best attribute of the...
I've stayed here twice now, and will definitely be staying here again. It is the closest *nice* hotel to the downtown area and the price is reasonable for how clean and stylish the property is. Front desk is always staffed and ready to help. They have a laundry service with a quick turn around. The on-site restaurant has incredible breakfast. I've stayed at other resorts and hotels in Cozumel and I keep coming back to Hotel Puerto Libre.
