Overall very nice and rewarding stay. Great location, easy walk from ferry terminal and ideally located in town center. Condition of the hotel and rooms are excellent. Clean large room, and nice ocean facing balcony. Pool is small but enjoyable. We were the only guest when we attended. The pool also boasts a bar with a small menu reasonable price and good. Highly recommend especially when escaping from the Sargassum beaches of Playa.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We were in Cozumel visiting friends for four days and found Puerto Libre to be in an excellent spot right on the strip. It was far enough away from the cruise ship ports to be quiet yet accessible to all the hotspots. I highly recommend this hotel.

yes everything was great although it seems the cleaning staff is using some kind of sticky cleaning for the floors when they mop the rooms of using dirty mop water floors very sticky and leaves a dirty film on the bottom of feet when walked barefoot
