"No AC on third floor so in this heat it was hot throughout the stay, fans were provided but doesn’t match AC. Male receptionist was lovely and very helpful. We had an issue with maintenance in our room- but this was unresolved and not followed up on. We couldn’t wait in the room all day for someone else to show up as it was so hot. In general nice hotel in good location- 8 min walk to beach and 10 min walk to town centre for restaurants. Parking had enough spaces and the area where hotel is located is quiet. Pool is smaller than pictured and had swim lessons going on so half was occupied- but weather was so nice we went to the beach anyways."

"This place has a quirky charm. Décor is a bit dated, a few creaky floor boards but offers a cheap comfortable stay with amazing staff who go the extra mile. It's ideally situated for a brisk 10 min walk into Bournemouth. Has a small pool and games room which is great to keep all entertained."

"For a budget room this was ideal. Compact but clean and comfortable beds. Perfect location as could walk into Southampton centre and the docks. Continental breakfast but enough variety to fill you up. On arrival we was greeted by Simon on reception who was extremely helpful and polite and gave some excellent local knowledge for walks on the docks and other areas, thank you."
