Loved it! Cute town and lovely breakfast. Nice restaurant at the neck back Pecks and casual pub food at the front. On small thing service was slow in the pub food and breakfast. Seems understaffed! Eveything else was great.
We had a good experience and would definitely stay there again. If coming by train, schedule a taxi ahead of time - there’s a long walk up a steep hill(which isn’t fun if you have much luggage).
Everything was as it should be. Had to pay £10 for shuttle bus which was unexpected. I didn't have to pay this when I stayed at other similar nearby hotels. Need to take this into consideration when comparing prices.
Clean modern room. Very nice common spaces. Dinner reasonably priced and well presented, but a little disappointing. I had the pulled beef and mushroom Wellington. Pulled beef is just a euphemism for beef puree. Some pieces of meat would have been nice. Breakfast was good. This place is much better value for money than the airport Radison Blu and you can walk to and from the terminals. However, you do have to walk in the open which would not be good in rain.
Well kept historical farm. Bonus awesome short walks nearby. Very peaceful when needed. Deer park walk includes carless country lane, a huge estate to explore and paths to contemplate the peacefulness. Followed by great meal and people afterwards at the tavern next door to Ash Farm. Plush room and shower to cozy up in. Best breakfast ever: atmosphere, fresh fruit, all homemade food, and personal quality service from the owner and his chef.
Great hotel if you have an early morning flight or you want to just get off the plane and straight to a hotel. Walkable from every terminal. About 10-15 min walk from Terminal 3 through the covered walkways.
We had a great stay here with our two dogs. The staff was wonderful and we really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Dinner and drinks were enjoyed every night. It’s in a good location to access hikes without driving anywhere.
First of all the property is incredible. Very well maintained manicured. Excellent for short walks to clear your head while working. We had arrived early and the staff accommodated in early check-in. Throughout the day, we were treated with fantastic hospitality, and great service.
Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items.
Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated.
Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant.
