We absolutely enjoyed our stay the entire 4 days we were there for. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, particularly the receptionist, Evi, who while we were staying there she was very helpful, hospitable, etc. She was absolutely amazing and we appreciate everything about her and hope to stay at this property again soon. Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool! Great location, nice big space, modern furnishings. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response to messages but the woman who was on site at times was super helpful when we ran into her. Our balcony door didn’t work properly so we were unable to sit at the cute table and chairs outside. But overall a great spot and would definitely recommend it.
This place is phenomenal. Brilliant service. They celebrated my mother’s birthday so nicely! They made an eggless, organic dessert for her and gave her a nice hairdo!
Spectacular stay near the acropolis. We walked everywhere. Felt safe. So many restaurants, shops and adventures to get to from our location. Had a beautiful and amazing view from our balcony and rooms of the Parthenon and Acropolis. The hot tub added extra awesome experience in the evenings. An elevator right into our room was unique. Private. Secure. Had everything from coffee, to robes, a full kitchen and more. I highly recommend this place.
This is a beautiful hotel, in an excellent location for exploring on foot. Our room was very nice, with large windows, and a balcony. The staff was wonderful with restaurant recommendations and directions. The lobby/ breakfast area is beautiful and the included breakfast is a nice way to start the day. They also left us a to go bag when our flight left before the scheduled breakfast. One thing to mention is that cabs and Ubers cannot go down the street the hotel is on. It is a short 1/2...
Hotel is lovely. Room was large and shower excellent. The staff is very helpful and courteous. It is located near the Acropolis and plenty of restaurants. We even received breakfast boxes because we had an early morning flight. I would highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the Coco-Mat Athens and we love it. It is located in a very nice part of town and is very walkable (if you don't mind hills). Our room was large, particularly the shower, which is HUGE by European standards. As with our last stay, every staff member we met was extremely friendly and helpful. There are great restaurants nearby...I recommend Café Nero and Chef and the Dog.
As a side note, everything I thought I liked in a bed apparently was wrong. I always looked for...
The hotel is fantastic. It has its own private beach. The staff is great and quite helpful. It’s quite close to the airport and but far enough away to not be noisy. The breakfast was quite good.
