Great staff, beautiful aesthetic and charming. We happened upon the Briar Barn looking for a quaint place to sleep for the night. This place was beyond our expectations and we are already planning another visit, with friends, to stay and see the sights of the area. We are New Yorkers and were so impressed by they service, the cleanliness, the vibe, the amenities and the space. We will come back and recommend to others.
Staff was so approachable. I felt safe and room was clean. I stayed here to stay close to salem and it took 15 min driving time to get there. Also is like 3 min drive to the archeological site in Danvers.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. There were two things I really liked. The first was that there is a quiet time between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. We've all stayed in hotels where there is a loud party going on in the room next door. The second was the ability to cast from your personal device to the TV, so you have access to every streaming service you pay for.. a very nice feature. I would definitely stay again.
Everything was perfect! It was exactly like the pictures and SO CLEAN! It’s brand new, renovated and the bed was super comfy! Katie, at the front desk, was extremely welcoming and available if we need anything. Would definitely come and stay again!
Adorable boutique hotel! As a hop and a skip away from the hustle and bustle of Salem, it was refreshing to retire to the Cabot Lodge in the evenings. Check-in was a breeze (a no-contact check-in) and, much to our delight, a beautifully designed room awaited us. The cleanliness and safety of the hotel are top-notch. Intagramable to say the least, the Cabot Lodge in Beverly wins my favor.
We were just on an overnight away from home so didn't bring any phone chargers with us. But my wife's phone started eating away the battery and we knew it wouldn't last until we got home. She asked at check-in if the hotel had a charger we could borrow. The guy checking us in said he had one out in his car that would work and let us borrow it to charge the phone. Service above and beyond what is expected!
In town to visit family, so we come to the area several times/year and have stayed a a number of hotels. Our stay at the Beverly was great. Room was clean, large and comfortable. Check-in easy and despite no physical staff on site their staff communicated well via text before, during and after our stay. Convenient location, close to Salem, Gloucester and Rockport. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.
Newly renovated. Room was very spacious and very comfortable. Jeffrey the inn keeper was very welcoming and accommodating. Eveb though it is sn Inn not a B&B the breakfast was very good. Great price for the area and you get what you paid for.
I wasn't expecting much when I booked with Vista, but as soon as I got there I was impressed. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome and took the time to explain everything you needed to know while staying there. Our room was a little dated, but it was spacious, and very clean! I love to travel and I have to say it was one of the cleanest places I've stayed at. When I booked I was concerned about the view I would be getting based off of others reviews...but I was pleasantly surprised...
Service was outstanding and the continental breakfast, cookies and cider available during the day... and the view was nothing short of spectacular... and only 45 minutes from Boston Logan airport.
My husband and I recently stayed here and had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful and the Inn is so inviting! We have never stayed in this type of Inn before and we were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and relaxed we felt in a home-like setting such as this. The room was great and we had a gorgeous view of trees, a pond, and the incredible skyline of Massachusetts. We are used to pretty sunsets and sunrises in Southern California, but we do not have the fall trees that make these...
