Our stay at The Marblehead Hotel was excellent. The rooms are spotless, the linens and towels are like brand new and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The staff is so attentive- returns calls quickly and so friendly and helpful once on property. I highly recommend this property as it's quiet, conveniently located to everything (shops, restaurants, Salem, etc) and is extremely safe- if one is traveling alone. We will certainly return in the future as we truly felt 'at home'.

What a BEAUTIFUL place! The attention to detail with the restoration of this beautiful home turned boutique hotel is top notch. Our room was stunning and the bed was so comfortable. Ash, the front desk attendant, was super friendly and left our code and key for us at the front desk so that we could begin exploring before we had to check in. I also forgot my rings in our room the next day after we had checked out. I called that afternoon as soon as I realized I was missing them, and she ran right away to gather them and had them waiting for me once again at the front desk after hours. This hotel sparks imagination, wondering what it must have been like to live in such a beautiful place hundreds of years ago. Highly recommend! We will be returning as soon as we can!

My stay overall was amazing. The King suites are heavenly and going forward I would book again. The first night the front desk girl gave my room away even though I paid for it and had to find out at check in. Once the first night was over things seemed to run more smoothly. Housekeeping is amazing.
