Lots of good eats and wineries. Recommend Walla Walla Vitners for a tasting and then next to door at Echolands for the view. Head South to Milton Freewater the next day and hit up Zerba, Sleight of Hand and Feliciana de Castillo for some sangria.

Even though the wine industry boom years are ancient history, Walla Walla remains a great town. Lots to do.Quality dining. Outstanding wine. Friendly people. Many fun activities nearby.

If you're in to wine tasting, this is the place for you. Downtown has a great vibe and some really good restaurants, but beyond that, not much to do.

We love the charm and architecture of the preserved historic buildings. This trip all the dogwood trees were in bloom which was beautiful.

We came to race at the BMX track and it was wonderful. Long track, plenty of space for spectators and park was beautiful.

It is a great place to get away. There are many Wineries all around the city, and many more that you can drive to. The restaurants are AAA-class, from Pizzarias, Japanese, Thai, and Greek, and the best breakfast restaurants anywhere.

Walla is an extremely nice town, lots of shops, well kept and clean for a large " downtown" walkable area. I was pleasantly surprised.

Walla Walla is a great place for a short vacation. ESPECIALLY if you like wine! 🤗
"Samantha and her staff are absolute superstars! Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My daughter was super excited about the call to the room about how it was for us. Felt like home. We enjoyed having breakfast in the breakfast area and night swimming was a blast! Night Staff was super helpful when it came to the walk in snack bar which is reasonably priced and easy to make in your room. If we could give this crew more than 5 stars we would. Definitely coming back to stay the next time we are in town. Thank you Samantha for a wonderful stay! "
"To be honest I’m kind of embarrassed from some of my other 5-star ratings because this was demonstrably better than those. This is a really cool place, and the room was exceptionally clean. The linens smelled so fresh! The art deco vibe was cool, and the room was very functional, although as mentioned in another review there are no nightstands on the side of the bed, just kind of a bolted on metal plate. However there were numerous places for storage, and although my room was described as a “micro”, it was more spacious than a regular hotel room.
The staff was helpful, and I was able to ride one of their loaner bikes around Whitman College. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance, as well as other shops. There’s a wine bar kind of service in the hotel in the evening, and although I didn’t partake, others appeared to enjoy it. Also lots of neat spaces outside for sitting, including an outdoor fireplace. "
"The stay was good. I did notice one curtain needs to be replaced as the bottom is torn up and almost falling off; also the toilet lid should be replaced because it is getting old and scratched. Other than that, the room was nice, clean, and the other visitors quiet. "
" We booked because it was the least expensive place and we must needed somewhere to sleep with air conditioning. We've had a bad experience at another Sure Stay but took our chances.
To our surprise, this one was clean, the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The shower actually had water pressure, which was a plus!
We would recommend this place! It's not fancy but it had everything we needed!"
