My wife and 10-month-old baby stayed here for four nights on holiday from the United States. This was the end of our trip traveling through the UK and we were very happy with our stay. The location of the hotel was excellent, the rooms were nice, and the staff were very friendly. Although there were two fire alarms that went off out of the hotel's control, they responded very promptly and made sure all customers were taken care of. Great hospitality and very welcoming!!!
Property seemed very nice, though the picture advertised is a”wee” bit different. Hotel looks lovely inside but had a weird dam smell in the hallways. Like many hotels in Europe - NO AC which is rough, but they did bring up a small fan. Surrounding area is cute with little shops, bars and cafes and seemed cleaner - less graffiti and more “Kept up” than central Glasgow. They obviously need to spend more money to clean it up and its reminds me of some crappy areas in Manhattan that have bend let...
Great place to stay within easy walking distance of the city centre. Breakfast is really good and the discounted parking across the road was an added bonus.
We arrived after a long transatlantic flight and requested an early check-in. No hotel will guarantee this but the Hilton staff worked hard to accomodate us. It was wonderful and much appreciated. It is an easy walk into central Glasgow. Staff were universally pleasant and helpful. Food in the relaxed bar and restaurant areas was excellent and we especially enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The Hilton is now our go to hotel in Glasgow.
I'm so sad that we were only in town for one night. My sister and I did a road trip around Scotland, and this was our last night. It was the BEST hotel we stayed in. The staff was amazing and nice. The hotel was quirky and upscale. The breakfast was delicious (the best we had eaten the whole time we were in Scotland).
Food great, advertised 24 hr room service that did not exist. Short on staff the whole stay. However restaurant very helpful on providing trays etc for u to go get your food.

Stayed in the hotel section after a very long international flight so it was nice to be near the airport. This was a beautiful place to spend the night! The room was large (with a surprisingly large bathroom), the dining was delicious, the service was impeccable and best of all, the employees were the nicest we’ve met on this trip to Scotland. We highly recommend the Oak Tree Inn!!
