Had a pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfy with a good shower too. Staff were helpful. Only criticism is it was a bit chaotic at breakfast buffet but otherwise enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros - car parking just behind hotel, lovely fresh and clean room, comfy bed, great food at good value Cons - just something small however you have to wait till someone from bar free if you need to speak to someone at reception and when bar busy it was awhile waiting.

The Moxy never fails to deliver, the location is ideal for nights out at the Hydro/Armadillo. The rooms are well maintained, cleanliness is excellent and staff are extremely helpful and sociable in the bar area, I would like to see a change in the hot snacks but cannot fault this place, will certainly stay again.

6/10 Good

Basic accommodation, well located for SEC. Bed was clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet even on event nights. Decor is a tiny bit tired. Sink didn't drain very well.

8/10 Very good

The hotel feels like a budget version of the Marriott brand. There’s everything you need and it’s to a good standard but more basic. It feels like it’s aimed at people not spending a lot of time in the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy, it had the feel of a uni/college refectory with a good amount of choice for £15pp. If looking for somewhere to use as a base then it’s a good base to start from for the sec and 20/25min walk into the centre.
