We stayed for one night at the Argyll and it was pretty good. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Our room was large, and the shower was spacious. The carpet in the room is a little dated though and doesn’t give the feeling of being clean. Breakfast was pretty good, can’t complain.

Our go to place in the West End when visiting Glasgow. Unfortunately the pub next door allowed clients to drink outside resulting in lots of noise both nights. A bit out of the hotels hands but it does impact their clients. Didnt have breakfast this time but staff are always great. A bit more information on long term parking on the website would be useful as street can be expensive. Perhaps negotiate a deal with the Hydro car park. Still our go to hotel.

Super convenient hotel within walking distance of Ovo Hydro. Hotel was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly. Gave advice on buses to take to various venues whilst we were in Glasgow for Commonwealth Games. Our room was compact, in fact the door looked like we were entering a cupboard, but ideal for a base. We only slept in the room, didn’t sit in it watching the tv. We were on the third floor at the back of the hotel and it was lovely and quiet. The shower was in the bath, lots of hot water but a wee bit difficult to regulate the temperature. A large selection of breakfast items, a huge choice. Also good restaurants nearby.

Room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The property does face a semi-busy street, which does mean a bit of outside noise. But, that also means there's lots of good restaurants and grocery stores to go to, as well as close proximity to Kelvingrove Park and the university. Would stay here again!
