"This little gem made our entire trip so much more than expected! Researching Machu Picchu and ways to get there was overwhelming until we found this cute, quaint and charming b&b. Highly recommend staying in Ollantaytambo versus Cusco…you experience a lot of local influence without the overly tourist aspect. As someone who is well traveled in their career and stays in luxury hotels for work often, I can say with complete confidence that this place has the most wonderful hospitality, charisma, and character. The proprietors of this property really know what they are doing! And while it is an extra 8-10 minute walk to the town’s square/train station, its quiet charm, peace and garden is well worth it! Breakfast every day was with fresh bread, jam, and ready to order eggs. They had amazing local recommendations and helped ensure we had an INCREDIBLE dinner at a local restaurant 2 blocks over. The room overlooked the gorgeous garden and only enhanced the views of the incredible Andes mountains surrounding us! This place will forever hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to the day I get to come back."
