Eau Claire has got it going on! over the past 10 -15 years, the riverfront has gone through a major transformation, anchored by the Pablo Center at the Confluence - a world-class live performance theater.

Pleasantly surprised of the dining and entertainment options of the area. Hiking at Beaver Creek Nature Center was a delight. The wineries and distilleries were a bonus to the trip.

Walked around UWEC. Amazing changes since I went to college there. Beautiful campus. Downtown Eau Claire has improved and it is lovely to walk along the river.

Good options for different restaurants and shopping. Definitely need a car to get around most streets had moderate traffic but it would be difficult to get around without a car.

Eau Claire is a pleasant city. Some of the signage can be confusing but GPS saved me. The University Campus is lovely!

"Clean comfort at extremely reasonable price. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Several eating establishments nearby including a 24 hour Kwik Trip across the motel. "
"I was a solo traveler and upon check-in was moved to a single King room. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was like floating on a cloud, the staff were so friendly and willing to offer suggestions for dining and entertainment nearby.
Sure it was a "cheap" rate and it wasn't a modern chain motel, but I enjoyed the simpleness of parking right outside my door and relaxing in a quiet room.
Plus, the bed was soooo comfortable and the pillows would suit anyones preference!"
"Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth, the amenities were top-notch, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience! Well located to the hospital and restaurants. Easy parking and excellent breakfast. "
"I've stayed at almost every no-frills motel in Eau Claire (I live in the Northwoods and do my stock up shopping in EC), and this one was the best. Perfect...no. It needs some work, but you can see the effort they are putting into it. Live plants inside, landscaping, clean, quiet. I watched one of the staff outside weeding and caring for flowers, and for the indoor plants which had been brought out, and it was clear the pride the motel takes in it's appearance.
I stayed on the hottest day of the year and the AC was amazing! I loved that my dog was able to stay with me, no fuss at all. I didn't ask much of staff, but they were swift to respond.
If you are looking for a manned front desk to cater to your needs, free breakfast, and a pool, this place isn't for you (but if you were looking for that you probably shouldn't be looking at economy lodging). However the, if you're looking for somewhere clean, quiet, safe, and unbelievably cheap, you've hit the jackpot!"
"Was just a quick overnite. Staff was nice.
Rooms were clean and location was quite and close to freeway. Food options across the street and more very close.
Breakfast at hotel was good for us. Hot and Cold options."
