Loved the downtown area at night with all the lights and free parkades. The parkades were clean and had good lighting. The downtown looked like it had nice bars and restaurants. Will spend more time there the next time we go. Shopping was also good

The Hjemkomst Center with the replica of the Viking ship and Stave church was really cool. The Clay County Historical society in Moorehead has done a nice job. Also I enjoyed the Fargo Air Musueum. Getting to see vintage planes up close was awesom

We spent quite a bit of time exploring the area. Went to Jamestown, Valley city, where my son will be attending college, West Fargo, and Fargo to explore. Great little city. Small town with big city vibes. Loved it!

Depending on your preferences you can go as mainstream as you want or as unique as you want when it comes to lodging and food. As I get older it's been fun exploring the unique things Fargo has to offer.
