Brenham is a quaint, small town, in the best way. The bluebell creamery is a wonderful stop along the way + downtown has plenty of parking with picturesque buildings to photograph. Many of the buildings have beautiful murals with different themes!

Brenham is smaller than we expected, but we enjoyed the downtown area. We also enjoyed the Blue Bell Creamery, a much-needed and reasonable foot massage at Joy Foot Spa, the Antique Rose Emporium, and the Higgins Thrift Store next to our hotel.

We ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant, would recommend Volare Italian Restaurant
"This was my second time staying here. Love the place quite a bit. Had a very noisy upstairs neighbor but that’s not the hotels fault. Very safe and quiet otherwise. They do now charge $6.99 a person for breakfast, which was different from my last visit but the breakfast is good so can’t complain! "

"Went to a Rick Springfield concert at Cynthia Woods Pavilion. This location was perfect and cheaper than other options. Pro tip park your car at Kirby Icehouse pre game a little and walk into concert. Hotel was clean, safe, and in great condition. The beds were comfortable but moved around a lot if you know what I mean. AC was on a thermostat so didn’t make noise all night. Great shower, soap, shampoo, conditioner and plenty of well placed outlets. Breakfast was awesome good variety and tasty great coffee. Just a couple concerns no tea available in room or at breakfast (sad face for the wife) and pool hours 10 am really?you don’t have lifeguards and with check out time at 11 BS. Fix those and you go from good to awesome."
