Amazing property at a perfect location if you are looking for stays near Mount Rainier. We had to start an early morning hike and this was the perfect stay for night before.
Staff was nice, but checking in and out was very slow- only one outdated computer. Food was good but pricy and slow. The lounge had a real wood burning fire place which was a cozy place and a chance to chat with fellow travelers. The Inn being located in the park was a great to visit the park.
Grocery store next door, hardware store and restaurants within a short walk, White Pass ski resort and southern entrance to Mt Ranier NP within a reasonable drive. Pull up to front door of room for easy unloading/loading of car if on ground floor. Pleasant, efficient staff. Reasonable rates for the area.
The room and property were clean and situated in a beautiful location. The only inconvenience I experienced was with the check-in instructions. Although the instructions were sent prior to arrival, since I was arriving late, I had to call and ask about the late check-in process. The staff was helpful and explained everything over the phone, but a simple text or email with the instructions would have been more convenient.
I almost skipped over this property because the rating seemed low at first glance. But after reading through the reviews, I realized most of the complaints were about trivial things—like the lack of a TV—rather than the actual quality of the stay. I’m so glad I gave it a chance.

It was an enjoyable 2-night vacation! We love the beds in the room - so comfy! And the hitting floor at the bathroom was a big plus. I want to high light food at the restaurant and a cafe! Everything was incredibly delicious! Maria is the Chef! She was able to remind me of the real taste of food! Beverages and pastry must have the label "Made in Heaven"! Even if you not staying overnight at the Paradise Village, definitely make a stop at their restaurant!

We were not sure what to expect from this place before our stay, but we were pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. Staff was friendly, gave a tour of the building and explained all the amenities available during our check in. Apparently our bed had 14 inch memory foam mattress, no wonder it was so comfy. We stayed at a different place last time, the experience at Alexander's is unique and memorable. Highly recommended.
This is such a great place to stay if you're visiting Rainier. It's right outside the park gates, the rooms are big, clean, and comfortable, and there's a great cafe right on the property to pick up breakfast on your way to the park. Also, a clean, well-maintained hot tub to relax in after your hike. The food next door is good, the store will have any gear you forgot, and the whole property is very nice. Definitely recommend!
