Very friendly area, lots to do, good shopping. If you are a quilter, highly recommend Quilters Haven on 1st Ave and if you like wine Yooper Winery is close by. Great marina in historic district as well as lots of scenic hiking too!

Absolutely love visiting Menominee! Beautiful countryside and friendly people!
"Pine Grove was super clean and comfortable, but what really set this place apart was the staff. Everyone seemed to take great pride in the resort -- they were so friendly and kind. One morning, we were on the way to the car and a staff person walked by carrying a long board, smiling broadly, and said, "time to go rescue a baby racoon!". Sure enough, a baby racoon was stuck in a dumpster. My husband and I just looked at each other like "is this for REAL?" I think the all the staff really love working there! "
"Very nice place, very clean . The bathroom was quite small but adequate for the 2 of us. Beautiful sunsets at the restaurant . The gym is a great asset there also. I'd recommend the Landmark"
"This hotel has charm, with fireplaces in the rooms and a beautiful log and stone wall in the breakfast area. There is also outdoor seating and a great outdoor pool. It is clean and very well maintained. Many of the guests return here each year and are very friendly. There are cute shops right by the hotel and a small craft market. It is a calm quiet area, right across from an orchard, but still close to Fish Creek. I would definitely stay again. This hotel made our Door County trip extra special. "
"The property is close to amenities. Hotel is clean.
Wish I had a firmer mattress. Although free breakfast, is a grab and go and does not open until 8AM. Would have liked to get a fresh brewed coffee at 7. Owner was not familiar with different activities or sites in the area when asked. Should get familiar with eating places in the area Lure is a great restaurant that is close; and Door county is known for cherries; we wanted to go Cherry Picking. One is in Sister Bay down the street!"
