Sip world-class Pinot Noir at tasting rooms along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail, where vintners pour with small-town friendliness rather than pretension. The laid-back vibe makes this Santa Barbara County gem feel like a secret that wine enthusiasts have been trying not to share too loudly. Bring a designated driver – the generous pours at Martian Ranch and Bedford Winery demand it.
This is the second time we have stayed within a year. We had a really great server for lunch at Norman's on 4/28. I forget her name, unfortunately. Will return again!
The staff service was superb, and the grounds, inboarticular the pool and outdoor patio were gorgeous. There were stains on the carpet in the inside of the hotel room, but other than that, the hotel room was nice. The room could have also used more firm pillows.
It was a wonderful first stay for my wife and I in Solvang and the folks at Wine Valley Inn made our stay very enjoyable. From check in to check out they were friendly and helpful. Their hot breakfast was enjoyable and so were the pastries from Olsens bakery. We will be returning here.
We stayed 2 nights at the hotel, the hotel is very comfortable and we loved the breakfast, dessert at night, evening wine tasting and the best of all, steam shower and nice hot tub. I do have to mention one thing is that if you book with more than 2 people (include kids of all age) in a room with the # of people listed on the Expedia confirmation page and even with phone call to Expedia confirming the booking is for 3 or 4 people and the price is included , the hotel might still try to charged...
Hotel is lovely, recent renovations with a great marble and walk in shower in the bathroom, down comforter and comfy mattress. Quiet, and luckily for me it was taco Tuesday night at the property which was very welcome after a long day in the car, I didn’t have to drive to find food.
I travel semi professionally and I am in a hotel around 1once a week. I genuinely have not had better service in any hotel. This small but sweet hotel has the kindest man working the front desk, Sharath who went above and beyond to accommodate me. He stayed late to check me in and made sure I had water and coffee every day. He lent me help and was incredibly kind the entire time. Truly the highlight of my trip was meeting Sharath. I wish every hotel had a Sharath
I like the space of the one bedroom suite and all the amenities that were in the room. I appreciate the pet friendly amenities, although this particular location could use a little remodel for the pet area. It was an awkward dirt and weed path on the other side of a gate. Other than that our stay was very nice and the location is perfect =) Would stay again.
It was a good and decent size to accommodate my family and me. They did however forgot to refill the conditioner and add another towel but those were obtainable by calling the lobby. The light was limited which can be a problem and upon entering the a/c was on blast and made the room cold in the morning.
I spot some textures on the was that needed work in the bathroom walls which for the price was a little disappointing compared to other hotels. The gym was too small with 4 machines and a small...
room was clean, bed comfy with a refrig for my Insulin Quiet no noise from other rooms
or parking lot. Just enough for 2 nights, Breakfast was good & convenient,
staff was ery friendly & nice. Resonable price.
New Haven Inn is a quaint little hotel. We enjoyed our stay here. We were in room 10 which had 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living area. We had 4 people and used all 3 beds available. The 2 bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were wonderful. The single pull out couch is rather small, but Im only 5 ft 2, so that worked! The bathroom was beautiful and was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and shower soap in a dispenser in the shower. There were plenty of towels available.
