Such a beautiful town! Loved the free trolley that stopped right in front of the Metro station, across the street from the hotel. It has stops every other block all the way to the waterfront. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.

The last week we stayed in old town Alexandria near King Street. It was so walkable and lovely. There was so much to do and see and so safe. Public transportation is amazing and the town was very progressive and welcoming to all.
