Great stay. Perfect home base on our weekend ski trip to sugar mountain. Clean, comfortable, and check in / out was as easy as can be. Will stay again. Also the coffee truck was on point.

So glad we chose this hotel for our visit to the Land of Oz. As it is fairly new, we found it to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was a good complimentary breakfast and a menu for other choices, as well. Would definitely stay here again!!

Awsome trip bathroom was right beside our cabin lol although we didnt use most there ammenities they had everything grills fire pits and also a store that's awesome in my book great place in the tennesse mountains loved iteven saw a bear or two thankyou blackbear resort for an awesome time!!

The room was clean. The staff were friendly. The steak at dinner was awesome. They also had snacks and drinks that you could purchase at reasonable prices in the shop downstairs. Great view.

Nostalgic roadside motel. Inside the rooms have been completely renovated but kept their charm of mismatched furniture and little quirks. The owner personally welcomed me and walkes me to my room, opened the door, and turned on the lights and fan. Great service. Location is key. Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Loved this place and it was a good price. We were close to the Blue Ridge Pkwy in a cabin near the small campground that was wooded and private with a porch. The cabin had great cable tv options and a warm, fireplace insert. Cabins were comfortable and clean (rustic with modern bedroom). The grounds of Springmaid Mountain are beautiful with ponds, mtn. stream and woods. Get good directions before you go as cell service is spotty and our GPS didn't list the road. Everything was excellent. Staff was fantastic. Our only complaint was that the restaurants on property are closed Mondays and Tuesday for dinner. But you can go across the park to the Snap Dragon for dinner which was very good.

Great hotel with amazing staff. Our room was clean & spacious. On site restaurant & bar were great with a wonderful variety of food and beverage options. Neat shops on the surrounding grounds for coffee, ice cream, hotel & local souvenirs which were very nice. Plenty of parking on site

This is our 4th time of visiting the property. Staff is fabulos. Very accomodating. Handled everything we needed beautifully.

For a no frills, off the road motel, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. As the saying goes, never judge a book by it’s cover. To start things off, the staff at the front desk was very nice and made us feel so welcome. He had a table full of a variety of soft drinks and told us to help ourselves.
