Great hotel right across from the train station. It was quiet and our room faced the mountains and we had a balcony which was great to spend time on. Room was clean and updated, it was a great stay.
Had a fantastic time at this very unique hotel located above the city of Zermatt on the Mountain Gornergrat. We requested a room with a view of the Matterhorn and we were extremely pleased with our room and view. The price of the hotel included dinner and breakfast (at least in our case). This hotel has SO much charm! I cannot recommend it enough. It quickly became one of my new favorite hotels, and I honestly can’t wait to go back.
The location is absolutely perfect, you truly can’t beat it. One of my favorite touches was their small electric transport service that can pick you up and drop you off at the train station, so you don’t have to drag your luggage through town. Such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

Comfort and perks greatly exceeding expectations for a budget hotel. This hotel's "budget rooms", where we stayed at the height of summer, offer a (ski) lodge experience but also provide access to high end amenities (pool, sauna, workout, jacuzzi etc.). This is an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Zermatt and a mere 4 minute walk from the train station. Staff were very nice, rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. They have an attached restaurant and bar that were great. Both have great atmosphere with a cozy fireplace in the lobby bar. Great saunas and steam rooms on the lowest level. Ski storage room as well and a nice gym. Perfect place to stay on all fronts.

A free local bus allowed access to downtown but service ended at about 7:30PM and the walk back would be pretty uphill and take half an hour. Very nice hotel, close by the train shuttle station. Has two elevators, a beautiful lobby and excellent dining area. Breakfast was very good; All the 'hotels.com' hotels we have stayed in have provided a good buffet breakfast, clean rooms and good beds. The bed in the Butterfly was softer and more comfortable than all the rest. We would stay here in the future.
