Guatape is a gorgeous little town, and La Madriguera is a peaceful place to stay, with splendid views and warm service. You can easily walk to the center. A tuktuk from the square up the hill is 4000 COP ($1.10). Be sure to book a room with balcony. Beds are firm, sheets so soft. And the attached restaurant is simple but marvelous.
