The reception staff was all amazing, very friendly and very helpful, night staff helped with any queries I had through the night also! Room was lovely, king size bed was great, sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but can’t really moan for a sofa bed, lovely sized bathroom and great lighting in both rooms! Pool and steam room was also lovely and clean with once again friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely recommend and if I go back to the same area I would definitely stay again! :)

Pendley Manner was absolutely fabulous! The place is gorgeous!!! Our room was spotless, and the beds were so comfortable! The room included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, & biscuits. The staff was very professional, welcoming, and cordial. The bar & restaurant served excellent food. The atmosphere was relaxing. We enjoyed dining alfresco with the peacocks!
A truly mesmerizing experience. The room was of a standard comparable to the one we enjoyed at the Ritz in London. The castle and its surrounding grounds were beautiful and astonishing. The architecture was impressive in its history, beauty, and timeless elegance. The staff were polite and accommodating throughout. Altogether, it was a deeply enriching experience.
I lived in England most of my life and never even knew this place existed. Researching some National Trust properties to visit discovered this hotel associated with Waddesdon Manor. What a gem of a find!
We only stayed one night but could, and should, have stayed longer. The location is excellent and a short easy walk just across the fields to Waddesdon Manor which is a must visit in my view.

We stayed for 1 night on our way down to Weymouth only really as a stepping stone to break up the journey, but what an absolute gem this hotel is. We booked one of the courtyard rooms which was spacious, clean and well equipped, and booked breakfast too which was fantastic. The food was of really nice quality and we had lots of choice. Lovely stay here, very nice location. Right next to narrow boat marina and canal. Sat and watched swans, geese, ducks and a heron while having a nice cup of tea. Would love to stay again.
Wow I certainly appreciated the strong AC after a couple weeks with none. Very nice property and a decent breakfast. Easy access to London too if you want to see a show. Highly recommended.
I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the Nags Head. We had a wonderful time exploring Great Missenden (very easy to walk to from the Inn) & the countryside. The train into London was so easy. Our room was peaceful and a great place to come back to after a long day. The room was quiet and a a haven to get away from it all. And the breakfasts! We tried the Full English which is certainly a treat. Definitely try the fish & chips for dinner…so good!! If you want to have a true English...
