"Very clean & updated hotel in central Salem. The rooms are "micro", so not much room - but if you don't require much room you'll be fine. Parking is in the Salem Central parking deck ($20/day) that can be a ceased in the building directly across the walkway, so you won't get wet if it's raining."

"The location is excellent. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff were accommodating but did not speak english and it was hard to communicate. Our room did not get clean towels nor get the garbage emptied. We brought our own garbage out and got our own clean towels and toilet paper. That said the free breakfast was good and the hotel was kept clean."

"Cleaning staff emptied trash once, didnt vacuum and left our door open from 3pm until we found it about 630pm that evening. The desk staff didn't seem to care when I reported it. The photos of the rooms are not very revealing of the actual room. I reserved the Bertram with a Queen bed and when we walked in there was just enough room to walk as long as you didn't try to pass the other person in the room. VERY costly for what you actually receive."

"Room was fine but there was a very very strange banging noise all night long above us. I should have reported it when it was ongoing but I didn’t. When I did report it, that staff stated they would look into it. "

"Breakfast is nice. Rooms clean. Staff courteous and helpful. Although did not matter to us since we were on the ground floor (floor2 at this hotel) but only one elevator was working. Noticed same problem when we stayed about 4 months ago.... Hope they are getting it fixed for upcoming tourist season."

"Parking was across the street, easy access. Restaurant and bar were not open. Bummer. Overall for the price it was good. Indoor pool was open but had to travel through renovations. "

"We stayed for a single night and loved the funky room decor. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we also enjoyed the fire pit outside, perfect for a cold night. Great value for money. We would definitely come back again."
