We have stayed here 2xs. This handicap room with a king bed was not comfortable. Bed was hard and the pillows need to be softer.

Arrived to a warm welcome and helpful woman up front. TV was set on wrong channel to receive reception (unknown to us) and she came right to our room to help us. Breakfast was great; Waffles you make yourself (5 stars!!) w/maple syrup, several kinds of fresh donuts, bagels w/ cream cheese, fruit, muffins, cereals, juice, milk, coffee, etc. You can walk right out of your room and you are on the beach :) They also had several fire pits to use out back along with a picnic table. This place was fantastic! We stayed here for a few days during wedding weekend because we had a bad experience at the Resort so we came here the next day. The experience was much better than the Tawas Bay Beach Resort. John was nice as well as his staff. We plan on making this our regular vacation stay. I’m a Yelp Elite and they will be getting an amazing review.
Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to...
It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too.
