We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. Really nice and clean room with enough space so you can feel comfortable. Pretty quiet and chill neighborhood. Easy to access the hotel. Only downside was that the water was not warm enough for a proper shower (could've been a unique case). Overall Excellent! recommend

We are so happy to have found Duck Lodge outside Brighton proper. Located in a safe rural picturesque village, it is an easy train ride into Brighton and you won’t have to hassle with parking and crowds. The location near the sea & pier was excellent. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Felt like family. Bathroom is a bit small, but that's to be expected so not an issue. Breakfast buffet was great, one of the best at any small hotel we've stayed.
Love this hotel. If you're coming on the train or bus, it's very convenient. I don't love staying near the beach, so it's great and really all of Brighton is a short walk anyway. It's close to the Lanes, clean and affordable, always my 'go to' when in Brighton.
I give this place a 10 because I have no complaints. None. It was clean, tidy, everything worked as it should, and it was great. I was born and raised in this neighborhood, and know it well. Lots of shops, cafe, coffee shops etc. Very easy to get around. I have no complaints whatsoever. We had a really nice two weeks here from the USA and would definitely choose it again.
