Staff were very helpful, this is the second time we have stayed here i did book a standard room but we were put in a basic room the man on the desk did explain why and gave me some money back. The room was basically clean. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast wasn't very hot but it was plentiful. We would still stay here again as it is central to amenities.

We had a nice stay in Mitra hotel. Didn't have any issues.The room and bathroom were very clean. Reception staff were helpful with leaving our luggages for a few ours after check out.The only things to improve could be a better entrance system as the entrance door is closed and glass door is a bit dark to see inside when you are out. Also there should be a sign at the entrance of breakfast hall as it is not on the ground floor. Otherwise I would definitely stay again in our next visits. Should also add that the location of the hotel is perfect.

The security to even get through the front door is a foreboding of what you are in for. It's in a vibrant eclectic exciting part of Brighton and the hotel reflects that with a sort of student accommodation type feel with basic facilities - no soap or shower gel is a first for me. The "cafe" serving breakfast was again basic. It's noisy with drunkards rolling back in every hour of the wee small hours. It's perfect for party animals but not for families or anyone with a need for at least the minimum usual hotel standards. It's not for me but it has its place for others. Location is perfect to explore the area.

Absolutely the best hotel we could have gone to. A short walk away from the beach. Right on tye High Street with all tye shops nearby. All the best restaurants at your doorstep. Delicious breakfast with so much choice thats included. 24hrs reception, with staff that are friendly, helpful and always welcoming and local experts that can recommend the best of everything. They even offered to hold our luggage after check out because our train was 5 hrs away from departure. We fell in love with Brighton and we'll definitely go back yearly and we'll for sure never stay anywhere else other than The Mitre Hotel. Thank you to all the great staff who contributed to our stay being memorable
