Well kept hotel with charm and style. Elegant feel and good quality accommodations. Small rooms - but all English hotel rooms seem a little tight to this American. We chose the Bedruthan for a long weekend get together with our large family. It turned out to be a very enjoyable stay. The kids took surfing lessons and loved the waves. We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of offerings at breakfast and the Sunday Roast. This is not "pub food."
This is an old hotel and be advised that the rooms are small and up steep stairs, although the staff helped with luggage. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, which is typically not needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely.

If you are interested in exploring Cornwall, this is a great location to do it from you are a short distance from the north and south coasts as well as the western end of the country. You have access to very good roads. On top of that, you will find yourself in a well appointed room being helped be an excellent staff. We’re vegetarians and we found very good meals.
