Spa was in need of a tidy up, plaster fallen off the ceiling and a little tired. Room was clean and tidy but our king bed was two singles pushed together, not very comfty. But the highlight was the staff that went over and beyond to make our stay one to remember.

We booked a king room which was a good sized room on the ground floor as requested. It had a large king bed and was bright and immaculately clean. There is a fridge with supplied still and sparkling water and milk plus teas and coffee. The spa and pool facilities are first class and the restaurant is good quality with the emphasis on healthily well cooked and prepared food. The staff were all so helpful , friendly and well presented. Excellent staff, would go again.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Restaurant food is very good. Many choices for breakfast. Great amenities with an onsite swimming pool, great for families and only a short walk to fabulous beach. Would definitely recommend St Moritz Hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Cornwall.

Have stayed here many times over the years, every time it feels it gets worse. 1 night booked in a sea view suite - bins were not emptied from previous visitors, long hairs in the shower, lamps in living room not working, zero lamps in bedroom, tea and coffee supplied but zero kettle in the kitchen, freezer was so iced over it was impossible to close the door once opened- this was fixed pretty quickly by reception. When checking out, I explained to the receptionist that there was not a kettle which we didn’t realise at 6am so not ideal, yet still wanted to charge us for our 2 lattes that we have with our breakfast which was included in the stay. I love this hotel but unfortunately the high standards it used to have have disappeared over the years. St Endodoc Hotel will be the preferred destination next time

Both the hydro pool and outdoor pool were closed and the seaside restaurant also closed early so limited choice of evening food. We have been visiting for years but I find maintenance and upkeep of the hotel is not good - rooms disappointing and tatty. Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent as always! We made a decision not to return.

We enjoyed the indoor & outdoor pool and breakfast was excellent. The room was a good size with everything required for a pleasant stay. We didn’t dine here in the evening as the restaurant was fully booked but the menu wasn’t very good so we were happy to eat at The Cracking Crab in Polzeath. We found check in & check out times a little inconvenient for a hotel-room wasn’t ready until 4pm and checkout at 10am meant breakfast was rushed. Parking was tricky as the hotel was busy, EV chargers weren’t working and the shuttle bus was not available so we had to drive to Polzeath. Overall a pleasant stay but not quite perfect for the cost.

A great stay. Amenities, breakfast, staff, all great. However they could do with preparing better for hot spells. The rooms aren’t air conditioned and the fan really didn’t cut the mustard. The duvets were far too heavy for a regular summer night, so during a heatwave definitely unusable. Please consider lightweight duvets for summer months

Lovely stay at St.Moritz! A lot bigger than we realised but very nice. Lovely clean room & excellent bathroom. Everything we needed. Lovely fresh milk, quality biscuits and water in the fridge. It is called a cosy room but it was a lovely, well laid out room and the bathroom & shower was a good size. Lovely quality bedding, pillows etc. We loved the swimming pool, showers and changing rooms - great. The outside jacuzzi which you swim out through the pool doors to get too. We could have stayed there all day! Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Staff Happy, friendly and efficient. What more do you need? Thank you -we will be back again.
