Beautifully appointed and updated rooms in a historic building and close to so many things! I loved walking through the area at night and seeing the summer light and music show at the town hall that our hostess recommended.

Breakfast is a bit too expensive, and it could be offered as a stopover package for business travellers

The room had comfortable beds, a good heating/cooling system, convenient free parking, in a quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hôtel Littéraire Stendhal (with air conditioning thankfully). Our room was built directly adjacent to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation et Saint-Sigisbert. I had a great stay for 1 night. The staff was very pleasant, my room very quiet (rm 602) , and had a hot shower and good internet.

We arrived late (23:00) on a Saturday evening and had neglected to arrange for a late check-in, but the staff thoughtfully emailed us directions to collect the key to our room and our arrival went very smoothly. We had a room with a separate living room and bedroom, which provided plenty of space for our family of four, and at a very economical price.
