We used a B&B hotel last year near Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and it was modern and very pleasant…. with staff! This hotel is very impersonal, like I imagine a Formule 1 to be, though I have never used one. It is sited in the back of a commercial/industrial estate, you wonder what you are driving in to. Once in, no staff available means you have to check in to a terminal outside, six number codes to get in after that, and it wasn’t that cheap! In fairness, the breakfast was pleasant enough, it is not an experience I want to repeat, I’ll pay a little more if I come this way again. Just a tip but if you want to eat nearby, we found the ‘Au Bureau’ about ten minutes walk away is very good in quality and value!

Basic but clean and good for a nights stay, check in bit difficult as we didn’t get the correct reservation number from Expedia, hotel was tricky to find from sat nav post code so use the actual name, car park is locked at night so car secure. Places to ear, supermarkets and gas stations all close

I stayed here as a stopover while driving down to Italy and it was perfect for this: simple, unpretentious, with a utilitarian room but with a big bed and a good shower. The only glitch for me was that Hotels.com didn't send me the login code and it took me a long time to find it - eventually it popped up when i tried to cancel.

Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel vers 23 heures après avoir réservé notre chambre sur le site internet. Nous avions bien reçu par e-mail un code d'accès pour entrer dans l'établissement et accéder à notre chambre. Malheureusement, ce code n'a jamais fonctionné. Sans aucune solution à cette heure tardive, nous avons été contraints de réserver et payer une nouvelle chambre à la borne automatique. Le lendemain matin, nous avons pris le petit déjeuner, qui était tout à fait correct et sur lequel nous n'avons rien à reprocher. Nous avons ensuite expliqué notre mésavanture à l'accueil. Le personnel nous a indiqué que ce problème n'était malheureusement pas une première et nous a assuré que le montant de notre première réservation effectuée sur internet serait remboursé. Or, cela fait désormais près de deux semaines et AUCUN remboursement n'a été effectué. Nous avons donc payé notre nuitée deux fois à cause d'un dysfonctionnement dont nous ne sommes pas responsables. C'est très regrettable, car malgré un accueil courtois et un petit déjeuner satisfaisant, le manque de suivi concernant le remboursement laisse une impression très négative de notre séjour. Nous espérons que cette situation sera rapidement régularisée.

Les + : un lit confortable, bonne insonorisation (contrairement à ce qu'on aurait pu imaginer), situation pratique. Les - : la chambre est petite, l'équipement minimaliste (pas de sèche-cheveux, ni de bouilloire), le petit déjeuner peu étoffé et la salle du petit déjeuner vraiment exigüe.

Hotel très difficile à trouver caché dans des bâtiments d'un zoning industriel. Hotel très vieux. Mais l'accueil était parfait. Le jeune homme à l'accueil a été très serviable avec moi et m'a donné une chambre au rez de chaussée car difficulté de marcher et il m'a proposé de porter mes bagages.
