Beautiful cabin, very clean. Loved the showers, and especially loved the heat lamp/fan in the Master Suite. Calm week listening to the river from the balcony or back deck. Nights are so quiet and you can see all the stars! My kids and dog had a blast running around, enjoying nature/hiking. You don't get that in the city. We plan on returning!

I wanted to introduce a guest of mine to Michigan. The Crooked River Lodge was the perfect place to do this. Situated on the Crooked River, the Lodge had nearby trails, a great indoor pool and jacuzzi, as well as a roaring fire in the fireplace and an outdoor fire pit as well. Very comfortable with nearby restaurants serving fresh perch and whitefish from Lake Michigan. I would definitely return for another visit. Carrine Etheridge Monroe MI

The Best Western of Harbor Springs is AMAZING! The staff is friendly and will ensure you have everything you need for your stay and to make you comfortable. The hotel itself is SUPER clean, has awesome amenities such as a microwave, mini-fridge, pool, hot-tub and nice play set for kids. Second trip we have stayed her ..loveit

We have known about Stafford's Bay View Inn from our trips "up north" over the 30 years but never stayed there. That was our mistake before but never again. The staff was friendly, charming and very accommodating. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The view of the bay was delightful and allowed us to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed the hotel library and the comfy leather chairs to catch up on some reading. Not having TVs in the rooms actually turned out to be a wonderful...

This place was amazing! The attention to detail at this place is immaculate! The hotel keeps it’s history and charm with the old feel, but is a modern hotel with everything you would need. We had an issue with our room that they were unable to fix at the time, so they gave us a new, nicer room without hesitation. The breakfast ambiance was relaxing and made you feel special. Coffee and water was refilled consistently. Food was great, views were great, outside patio was beautiful and peaceful....

Clean room, easy check in/out, no frills, short drive from mackinaw bridge

It is a 5 star because it was the perfect stay at a historic inn. The rooms and inn are over 100 years old so the mondern comforts are lacking. Minimual plug and small shower. However, it was quaint, the owners and staff were very pleasant, there is plenty of space to relax on the large patio, nice Terrace or in the Lobby. It was easy to imagine you were in a different time and place. If you want character - I highly recommend Petosky's Terrace Inn. Finally, the food at the 1911...

We loved the location, cleanliness and comfort. I would suggest putting a small table or chair in the bathroom to put clothes etc on because the sinks are small and there’s no place to lay anything.

The 2 rooms suite was large and comfortable. Fantastic views.

Very nice, whirl pool bathtub nice upgrade. We would suggest a exhaust fan in the bathroom, we have been in much finer motels put not as nice as this one, breakfast was real good too, will return

Had a small issue with the shower. The staff was very apologetic. The next thing I knew the stay was free! I did not request or expect that.

They are always very courteous and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located close to the things I do when I am in town.

Very clean hotel!! Very welcoming, helpful, amd friendly staff!! Housekeeping is TOP NOTCH!! We did not expect our room to be cleaned and new towels provided after our first night, it was such a nice surprise!! The hotel is EXTRA CLEAN!! When we travel to Mackinac Island again - this will be our choice of stay!! Locqtion is really good too, its about 2 min drive to the ferry, free shuttle provided as well.

Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast selection was a little disappointing, but pretty much the same as other similar hotels.

Staff was polite and did a great job keeping everything looking nice including the beach.
