Our stay was ok but there were a couple of issues. Number 1 the bathroom sink water flow was extremely weak. Number 2 the breakfast buffet was disorganized and very poorly stocked. Guests had to hunt down an employee to refill a number of items such as silverware,bagels, pancake batter and a fuse would constantly blow shutting down the whole breakfast operation. It’s a shame because otherwise it is a clean comfortable place to stay.

The rooms were clean, the vibe was cozy. It was pretty outdated but no mold or mildew anywhere I saw. There seems to be a staff shortage as I arrived two and a half hours after check in and still had to wait another half hour for them to get it ready for me, as it hadn’t been cleaned; very hard to find someone to ask a question, as when I rang the bell for service on my way out the woman in the back sat there on her phone, and didn’t come help at the desk. The other employee was outside smoking. Continental breakfast was on the lower end, pancake maker wasn’t working and they had incredibly limited options. Overall it was incredibly average, but I really appreciated how clean the place was.

They lied about having an airport shuttle. I arrived late at night, called the hotel to get picked up and they said there’s no way they could help me. I’m a single woman who had to carry two bags and a backpack down the highway in the dark. Yes. I had to walk to the hotel. And the next morning , I walked back to the airport in order to be able to get picked up by reliable taxi service. Horrible experience

This hotel seemed to be struggling since the recent poor weather. The pool is nice and warm and the room was alright. Had to figure out the AC settings and the TV has few channels. Rooms were good size and travel to other locals is quick and easy.

For the price, we expected the hotel to be outdated. The price can excuse older furniture, iron stains in the tub and sink, a bed with noisy, crunchy springs, and a tiny TV with no streaming options. But finding someone else's sock in the room, food in the microwave, and what looked like pizza or BBQ sauce on the wall gave us the ick and made the whole stay uncomfortable. The person who checked us in appeared unshowered and was wearing a stained hoodie, which didn't exactly get our stay off to a good start. The pancake machine was broken at breakfast, and when it was time to check out, nobody would answer the phone at the front desk. We can overlook outdated furniture and older amenities for the price, but basic cleanliness, service, and attention to detail should still be expected. Between the condition of the room and the lack of service, we left wondering what else hadn't been cleaned or maintained properly. We wouldn't stay here again.

The pool and hot tub were nice. The room was very handy since it had a second room with 2 more beds, something great with 2 adults a d 4 kids. Breakfast was okay only a little sparce. Property would be suited well with getting a drain field put in so the immediate area and parking lot doesn't flood.

Was not as advertised by Hotels.com Did not have coffee makers in room for starters. Mold on floor in bathroom. Tub in room dirty. Towels were so used, needed two, just to dry after shower. Very loud pipes in wall when room above used the plumbing. Parking was good because very few cars in lot.

Bathtub shower floor was quite slippery while showering. Bathroom sink faucet was too close to the sink edge (so hands were hitting the wall of the sink while trying to rinse) & had no water pressure. Staff were pleasant & friendly but didn’t seem too knowledgeable of their job or their surroundings. Pool & hot tub were very nice. Continental breakfast was minimal but the coffee was good. Location was great! Overall, our stay at Pellston Lodge was quiet & mostly pleasant.

We had the misfortune of arriving on a day when they had approximately 44 rooms check out and half the housekeeping staff was out. The staff was working hard and doing their best, but our room wasn't available until approximately 6pm. Both the snack machine and beverage machine had 'out of order' signs. The restroom near the pool was out of soap and kleenex. We didn't take advantage of the pool/hot tub or the breakfast so I can't rate them. Overall, it was a somewhat disappointing and irritating experience. I'd stay there again though because it was conveniently located and I image they are usually fully staffed.

The internet service was so slow you couldn’t watch tv. The treadmill did work and the room was not clean. The staff were helpful and nice.
