We certainly enjoyed the Alexandre Congress Hotel. Pick up from the airport went smooth ( you may want to ask details but basically follow signs to hotel shuttles/ look for a black van with the name of the airport on it. This was a great choice to stay before our cruise. It was a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port (all taxis are metered and there are plenty of them). There were a few restaurant options around. We didn't get a chance to really see a lot of Barcelona, but it was a nice stay.
Would recommend this location for anyone going to the port for a cruise or centrally located near La ramble st. Easy to walk to the metro or take a taxi. Great staff and breakfast. This is our second stay with them.

The Hotel is in La Rambla with friendly and serviceable staff.Walking distance to la Boqueria y Plaça Catayulla and the high end stores! Plenty of restarting the area! Plus tour operators can pick up at hotel or you can walk to the meeting point! The only draw was the breakfast which was 4/10. Yes I would stay in the Hotel again
It is one of the most beautiful properties I've stayed in. There were incredible spaces all around the hotel that were great for just chillaxing. Closed the rooftop pool 3 of the 4 nights - and there was good service and great food up there.

The staff was friendly and amazing! Loved the nightly, turn down service with chocolates. The bedding and pillows were so comfortable, I could have stayed in bed all day!! The spa was amazing! I swear the masseuse has magic hands because my back and legs were sore for days from all the walking I had been doing...and after the massage I was pain free!! Friendly staff. Just came off of a cruise and arrived at the hotel around 10am and much to my surprise, the room was ready to check In!! The room was well equipped and free WiFi and a bottle of water! I loved the shower! It has the hand held and an overhead shower head. Great location! The metro and the Aerobus stop right in front of the hotel.
I had a problem in my room water was leaking and the prompt attention and I was quickly moved to another room. With apologies for the inconvenience and complementary snacks & water. Carol was awesome receptionist also the one that came in after her. I forget her name but she personally walked me to my room. She did everything to make my stay joyful and memorable. I will definitely stay again.
