We chose the Bedruthan for a long weekend get together with our large family. It turned out to be a very enjoyable stay. The kids took surfing lessons and loved the waves. Well kept hotel with charm and style. Elegant feel and good quality accommodations. Small rooms - but all English hotel rooms seem a little tight to this American. The staff was very very friendly and gave us great suggestions for dining out. Padstow is a gem - please don't tell anyone - I'd like to keep it a secret!
This property was simply wonderful. The owners were kind and helpful, the room was gorgeous, the location was close to everything you want to see in Newquay and transport, and the breakfast was excellent.

We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of offerings at breakfast and the Sunday Roast. This is not "pub food."
This is an old hotel and be advised that the rooms are small and up steep stairs, although the staff helped with luggage. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, which is typically not needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely.

The check in was easy, they even stored my suitcase for a few hours when I arrived early. The room was so very nice with a great view of the harbour. The dinner and breakfast I had at the restaurant were delicious. Best location in town. Beautiful place to visit.

Our room was beautifully decorated and had an outstanding view of the water. Owen recommended a couple of local restaurants that we really enjoyed.
