Loved this hotel! I stayed here with my husband for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better place. The grounds and gardens are stunning with an awesome view of the Tuscan hill sides.The spa and pool are great for relaxing after coming back from wine tasting. This is truly a gem in the middle of Chianti.
We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.
Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing. This place is amazing, and was a great deal in the off season. We paid €120 for a very nice room with a great big shower and a little private patio. The downside is being a long way from Florence’s attractions and restaurants. The closest place to eat was an 8 minute walk. If you have a car and want to be away from the madness of the tourist areas this is your place. VERY quiet.
This is a beautiful hotel just outside Florence. It is about 15-20 minutes from the main city of Florence but it is worth the drive if you looking for a peaceful relaxing quiet hotel. Kiara was wonderful from start to finish. The staff are welcoming and so very cordial. She even upgraded my room. The property itself is gorgeous with lots of space. I appreciated the unique touches of this property. Breakfast was also very nice to have in their restaurant which has a very lovely skylight, perfect way to spend a slow morning on vacation. The best thing about Hotel Rapallo is EVERYTHING. To start with the location is most convenient, about 10 mins from main train station and about 10 to 15 walk to all the attractions and restaurants. We were greeted at the reception by a lovely lady Regina, she was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our check in was an absolute breeze. Regina also provided us with the map and to our surprise was also able to get us the booking for Academia Museum for the next day...in a nut shell...most amazing...
Limited transportation and the taxis were extremely expensive they will charge 165 euros one way for 30 minute drive. If you plan to go to Tuscany you need a car btw most cars are manual I don’t know how to drive it so I was stuck in the hotel for few days. To use public transportation you need to walk 39 minutes and is a lil dangerous because they don’t have side walk in the 15minutes from your trip.
This hotel was great. The breakfast was awesome. The location was perfect for walking the city as well as having great access to the train station. I also noticed a lot of the walking tours began in the area so it was convenient. Food choices everywhere and many many convenient stores nearby. The staff was great!
My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend mid-January. Very pleased with our choice. Cool, chic modern feel, but not at all 'cheap feeling' décor like some modern hotel renovations. This hotel was excellent I have nothing negative to say about. the rooftop pool was nice the bar on the rooftop was very nice. the bartenders there gave excellent service the sandwiches they sell at the bar were delicious. The breakfast buffet was good in the morning. I went in July so it was hot the air conditioning in the room was excellent “hard thing to find in Italy” I would stay here again.
