"We spent 3 nights in a really large nice apartment suite with a balcony. We were next to the pool but it was quiet with a nice view of the lake and Monte Bre. The hotel overall is a bit tired and in need of fresh paint, but the grounds were very clean. We loved the pool for a cool break from the heat and crowds of Lugano. Its a trek to find restaurants, even with the bus stop. We found good dinners 12-15 minutes uphill or downhill and skipped dinner the last night. The staff were very friendly and attentive."

"Restated at 5 different hotels during our Italy vacation. The Palace was my favorite of the 5 in all categories. Wonderful rooms, inviting staff & fantastic food. If I ever make it back to Lake Como I have no doubt where I will stay!"

"Absolutely perfect location, right on the lake. What a view! Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Nice clean modern hotel room in a classic building. It's an easy walk to the park, the boats, the train. Lots of nice restaurants right there. The room was large...bath had a tub AND a separate shower. And the balcony made us feel like we were royalty...sitting up high, looking at the lake, sipping wine, being in the thick of things yet in our own space. Wow! Not gonna forget this one!"

The afternoon terrace lunches were delicious, especially the gin and tonic experience. And the housekeeping staff exceptional. We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"

"We loved staying at this property — everything is always clean and well maintained. Our only complaint is the afternoon restaurant service. When we tried to get a few drinks, the service was extremely slow, and we ended up leaving the property to get drinks somewhere else instead."
