It’s truly the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Portugal. The owners, Paul and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and full of local knowledge, which made the experience even more memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s the most peaceful retreat you could hope for.
The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel is gorgeous. Our room was very quiet. The hotel is right in the center of regua, so it's very convenient. The breakfast was excellent as well.
One of our favorite hotel experiences ever!! The hotel itself is understated luxury with subtle mid century decor and elements. The pool and spa with additional indoor pool, steam room, sauna, and gym were beautiful and really were a huge perk. The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and courteous. We can’t wait to visit again. Also, the wine that comes from the hotel’s vineyard was the best red wine we had on our trip. You won’t be disappointed staying here!...
This was one of the highlights of our trip. The stay at Quinta do Vallado was superb. The room was beautiful, with a porch and lawn chairs overlooking the vineyards, the room came with a full bottle of port wine, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly, the food delicious. We apprecaied the 24 hour honor bar. The grounds just so beautiful.
The winery is located in the scenic Douro valley. The owners and staff are on site and very accommodating. The meals are delicious and a wine tasting is offered and highly recommended. You will feel right at home at this quaint bed and breakfast
Clean, comfortable space in an awesome location. A nice common space family room with a well equipped kitchen. A nice café on the bottom floor and 20 other food options within a five minute walk. A tourism sales place across the street to book river cruises, wine tours, etc. Enjoyed!!

We had a fantastic stay. It was low season and the owners treated us like family. The food was great, the room was nice though so be aware the open concept means the shower and toilet are basically in the same room.
Words come short of telling how I truly feel about my experience. I have traveled to many places, stayed at 6 star resorts, but nothing comes close Six Senses-Douro. To the amazing staff members, to the delicious food, the spa, the hotel and the Wine....absolutley Perfection, with every detail so well thought out!!!!!
